Frequently asked questions
What is SANRAKSH?
SANRAKSH is a safety network app. With one tap on the SOS button, it alerts your trusted contacts (your guardians) and nearby SANRAKSH users so help can reach you faster.
How does the SOS alert work?
When you press SOS, your live location is shared with your guardians and nearby responders. They can open a link to see where you are and call you or the emergency services.
What is the SANRAKSH emergency QR sticker?
It is a QR sticker for your vehicle or belongings. Anyone who finds you in an emergency can scan it to see the medical details and emergency contacts you chose to share, without needing the app.
Does SANRAKSH replace calling 112?
No. In immediate danger always call 112 first. SANRAKSH adds trusted people and nearby users on top of the official emergency services.
Where does SANRAKSH work?
SANRAKSH is built for India. You sign up with your mobile number and can use it from your phone's browser or as an installed app.
Who can see my location?
Only the people you add as guardians, and nearby responders while an SOS is active. Your location is not shared publicly.
